Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure of waterproof shoes, making possible to waterproof by fixing the upper surface of sheet having waterproofness but moisture permiability in the lower surface of flange portion and along its whole circumference, and fixing the lower surface of sheet with the upper surface of a second insole having a lip elongated downward over outer circumference. CONSTITUTION: The upper surface of sheet 17 having waterproofness but moisture permiability is connected with the lower surface of a first insole 9 including the whole circumference of a flange portion 8. Also, the lower surface of sheet 17 is connected with the upper surface e14 of a second insole 12. The passage shaped insert portion 5 of opening end portion looks upward. This portion 5 is useful for receiving the side portions 3 and 3' of instep of foot and its lower end, and the lower end of a lip 13 extends downward from the second insole 12. The side portions 3 and 3' and the lip 13 are positioned face to face each other between the circumferential wall of the insert portion 5 and above both are connected with the circumferential wall of the insert portion 5 by a stitches piercing between the side portions 3 and 3' and the lip 13 and almost horizontally extended.
