To enhance the waterproofness of waterproof boots which are provided with notches at the peripheries of the cuffs of the integrally molded boots and cover these notches with cover pieces.

These waterproof boots are provided with the notches in the instep parts on the peripheries of the cuffs of the integrally molded boots. The cover pieces 4 are mounted at the instep parts 3a on one side to be separated and the notches are covered by these cover pieces 4. Press bonding type hook- and-loop fasteners 5a, 5b disposed on the rear surfaces of the cover pieces 4 and atop the instep parts 3b are made freely engageable. In such a case, the outer superposed parts c on the side outer than fastener mounting parts T are provided with sealing means for prohibiting the infiltration of water, etc. These sealing means are constituted by forming recessed parts D in the fastener mounting parts T or the fastener mounting parts T atop the instep parts 3b on the rear surfaces of, for example, the cover pieces 4 and bringing the cover pieces 4 and the instep parts 3b of the outer superposed parts c into tight contact with each other or providing the rear surfaces of the cover pieces 4 of the outer superposed parts c or the front surfaces of the instep parts 3b with rib-like projections r, etc.
