To provide a building for easily performing a waterproof work of a roof, and easily performing maintenance of the waterproof work.

A parapet wall 21 is arranged in an upper part of an outer peripheral wall 1, and an oblique roof 52 is arranged in a part surrounded by this parapet wall 21. A flat part 60 is arranged along the inside of the parapet wall 21 in an eaves part of this oblique roof 52. The parapet wall 21, an upper surface of the flat part 60, and an upper surface of the oblique roof 52 are covered with a waterproof sheet 41. The waterproof sheet 41 of a part higher than the upper end of the parapet wall 21 of the roof 52, is covered with a roof material 56. Since the waterproof sheet 41 of a part lower than the upper end of an inner peripheral surface of the parapet wall 21, the flat part 60 and the parapet wall 21 of the roof 52 is exposed, a surface state of the waterproof sheet 41 can be grasped from the outside, and the maintenance of the waterproof work can be easily performed.
