PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the technique of a quite new waterproof structure arranging a waterproof metal to cover the junction of a flat roof section and a sloped roof section, forming a smooth continuous silhouette at the junction of the flat roof section and the sloped roof section, covering a part of the waterproof metal with roofing materials of the sloped roof section, and continuing the waterproofness of the flat roof section to the waterproof metal.
SOLUTION: A waterproof metal 4 is arranged at the junction of a flat roof section 1 and a sloped roof section 2, the tilt piece 7 of the waterproof metal 4 is fixed in contact with the sheathing roof board 12 of the sloped roof section 2, an erect piece 6 is kept in contact with the lower end face of the sloped roof section 2, and a horizontal piece 5 is arranged on the flat roof section 1. A roofing sheet 14 is installed on the sheathing roof board 12 of the sloped roof section 2 and the tilt piece 7 of the waterproof metal 4, an eaves edge drip 15 is fitted at the prescribed position of the waterproof metal 4, roofing materials 10 are arranged on the sloped roof section 2, and a mortar layer 16 placed on the flat roof section 1 and the horizontal piece 5 of the waterproof metal 4 are covered with a waterproof sheet 11.
