Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent water from penetrating into a case with a grommet even against strong water power.
SOLUTION: An electrical connection box 1 has a structure in which a flange part 5 of a grommet 4 is fitted on a guide part 12 of a case 2 of the box 1, and a cover 3 is mounted on the case 2. The flange part 5 is integrally formed so as to have at least two stages, and a second flange part 7 of an inner-case direction is formed higher in the height direction and the width direction than a flange part 6 of the outer-case direction. A first guide wall 25 corresponding to the flange part 6 and a second guide wall 26 corresponding to the flange part 7 are provided to form two stages. The upper parts of the flange parts 6 and 7 are projected higher than the guide part 12, and the upper parts are brought into close contact with a cover side. The upper part of the flange part 6 is made to closely contact the inner surface of the cover 3, and the upper part of the flange part 7 is made to closely contact a packing 43 in the cover 3.
