Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a watthour meter for fitting a switchboard by which electric power can be prevented from being stolen through the electric wire inlet of a terminal cover.,
SOLUTION: This meter is provided with a terminal part 15 in which a terminal metal 16 is projected on the rear side of a base 13 provided on the back of a main body case 11 and which is arranged in two rows apart from each other and a terminal cover 18 which covers the terminal part 15 and is provided with an electric wire inlet 18a on the side wall opposite to the intermediate position between two rows of terminal parts 15. A partition 17 for preventing steal of electric power is provided on the rear side of the base 13 adjacent to the inlet 18a of the terminal cover 18 in a manner that it is parallel to two rows of terminal parts 15 and is larger in height than the terminal part 15.
