Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide wave making pool that is suitable for surfing sports of high-grade so as to prevent surfers dashing against the side walls, in such a manner that wave courses and wave types can be varied and wave height can be adjusted and so on as well as the surfers playtime can be extended by making improvement of the bottom surface shape of the wave making pool to develop waves in fan shapes.
CONSTITUTION: A wave making deep bottom portion 2 of a trapezoidal shape with a wave making machine 1 serving as its bottom surface is formed in front of the wave making machine 1, and its upside inclines in upper and forward direction so as to form a wave making slant portion 3 which, after reaching a boundary line 10, is formed into a slightly inclined shelving bottom part 4. Side lines of the trapezoidal wave making deep bottom portion 2 extend upward slantly so as to form side face wave making slope portions 5, and are slightly inclined after reaching a boundary line 10, and connected to the shelving bottom part 4 so as to form a shelving bottom developing portion 4' developed in a fan shape. Moreover, both sides 6, 6' of the wave making machine forming upright side walls extend frontward and further develop toward both sides in a fan shape thus form side walls 8 of the shelving bottom developing portion 4'.
