Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ability of a waveform equalization device by generating a highly precise error signal even in an equalization initial stage or after convergence when a waveform equalizer input signal is incompletely demodulated and when distortion is large by means of the effective combination of an amplitude error signal and a square envelope error signal.
SOLUTION: A square envelope error signal weighting part 11 inputs a square envelope error signal being the output of a square envelope error signal generation subtracter 10, a waveform equalizer output signal, the output of an error weighting coefficient calculation part 7 and a fixed coefficient k2, multiplies them and outputs a value. The output gives square envelope error information of the output of a waveform equalizer at the time of generating an error signal being the output of an error signal generation part 2. An error signal generation adder 12 inputs the output of the weighting part 11 and the output of an amplitude error signal weighting part 4, adds them and outputs the signal. The output of the adder-12 is inputted to the coefficient update part of a post stage as the output of the error signal generation part 2.
