PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a waveform of good quality rich in controllability by performing an extension and contraction control of a loop reproducing time when forming a sound waveform by using a loop waveform, and to perform a time-axis extension and contraction control of musical sound components in synchronism with that of musical sound waveform.
SOLUTION: A loop reproducing waveform is formed by repeating a predetermined loop waveform in a predetermined sounding period, and when a sound waveform is formed including a section of plural different loop reproducing waveforms, it is generated by varying a time control signal TV timewise for expansion and contraction control of a waveform reproducing time, and the time length of each loop reproducing waveform section is controlled to be extended and contracted according to the time control signal TV. Moreover, in the case of generating musical sound control signals AV, PV varying timewise and controlling a time process of a musical waveform to be formed according to the musical sound control signals AV, TV, the time control signal TV for controlling a time process is generated, and according to this control signal, the time process of the musical sound waveform is controlled to be extended and contracted, and also according to this time control signal, the time process of the musical sound control signal is controlled to be extended and contracted at the same time.
