Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for waveform deflection correcting which is capable of generating a deflection corrected waveform with high stability for a CRT display device.
SOLUTION: A deflection waveform correction signal generator comprises a multiplication circuit U2 for generating a pincushion correction signal ICOR, and a horizontal frequency ramp R is generated by a retrace pulse HZC which is clipped. Each ramp generator Q2, C2 has an output R coupled to an integration circuit U1 and generates a parabolic shaped signal P. The ramp generators Q2, C2 and the ramp integrator U1 are reset by reset pulses of different durations and a signal P having a region of a non-parabolic shape is obtained. The signal P is coupled to an input of the multiplying circuit U2. A control circuit 300 is coupled to the signal P for maintaining a peak amplitude thereof by being coupled to the ramp generator so as to be controllable. A control loop 400 is coupled to the integrator U1 for controlling an integrator input bias current IT, to generate the signals P at predetermined time intervals.
