Abstract:
To provide a waveguide configured so that adjoining waveguides do not interfere, even when multiple waveguides that are polarization separation circuits are arranged tightly.SOLUTION: A polarization separation circuit 30 is a hollow columnar waveguide 930. The waveguide 930 has a first side input terminal 11 forming an opening at one end of a hollow columnar shape, a first second side output terminal 22 forming a first opening at the other end of the hollow columnar shape, a second second side output terminal 23 forming a second opening at the other end of the hollow columnar shape, and a polarization separation part 931 outputting one straight polarization from the first second side output terminal 22 according to orientation of each straight polarization, when two types straight polarization of different orientation are inputted from the first side input terminal 11, and outputting the other straight polarization from the second second side output terminal 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
