PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion casting material capable of manufacturing electroluminescent devices which emit a uniform mixed color and enable mass production with an applicable technical cost and sufficiently reproducible device characteristics.
SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion casting material is obtained by dispersing therein a powder of inorganic luminescent pigments (6) composed of the group of phosphors having the formula: A3B5X12:M (wherein A is Y, Gd or Lu; B is Al or Ga; X is O: and M is Ce3+, Tb3+, Eu3+, Cr3+, Nd3+ or Er3+) with a particle size of the luminescent pigments of ≤20 μm and a particle diameter d50 value of the luminescent pigments of ≥5 μm.
