To provide a wavelength selection filter capable of attaining the temp. stabilization of a resonance wavelength in a Fabry-perot etalon type resonator without correctly maintaining a parallel flat plate structure in an etalon structure with an optical accuracy with respect to a temp. change, and to provide a resonance wavelength selection control method used for the filter.
A driving means 30(40) for executing a control holding a resonance wavelength λ1 constantly by impressing a wavelength selection voltage holding the capacitance of a Fabry-perot etalon type resonator 20 constantly on an etalon medium 208 interposed between electrodes for controlling a refractive index is provided and at the time of the capacitance of the resonator 20 is fluctuated, a resonance wavelength selection process executing a control holding the resonance wavelength λ1 constantly by selecting an impression voltage in an inductive resonance area in the resonance characteristic of an electric resonance system and by impressing it as a wavelength selection voltage on the medium is executed.
