Abstract:

To provide a wear resistance tool of tungsten carbide super alloy having excellent self-lubricity.

A tungsten carbide super alloy wear resistance tool is constituted of a sintered body of a green compact having a blend composition consisting of, by weight, 3-20% Co, 0.1-2% vanadium carbide, 0.1%-1.5% S, as required, 0.1-2% chrome carbide and the balance tungsten carbide. The sintered body of the super alloy has the structure that a fine VS grain is dispersed/distributed in the matrix of a Co alloy in which, a binding phase for a hard phase made of Wc, essentially Co and V, S, C thereto, as required Cr are made into solid solution.
