Abstract:
To provide a device capable of assisting a wearer at an appropriate timing according to the load imposed on the upper body of the wearer, from the viewpoint of prevention of backache, or the like.SOLUTION: A wearable device to be worn on a wearer's upper body comprises: a belt part capable of tightening the upper body of the wearer; a state detection unit for detecting and outputting a data showing a movement status of the wearer; a load calculation unit for calculating the load imposed on the upper body of the wearer; and a control unit for controlling a tightening force applied to the belt part, where the tightening force is increased up to a first tightening force according to the data showing the movement status of the wearer which is input from the state detection unit, and where the tightening force is then increased from the first tightening force up to a second tightening force when the load which is input from the load calculation unit exceeds a predetermined load threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
