PURPOSE: To prevent the direct blowing of exhaust gas to residents by discharging the exhaust gas bilaterally from the weather cover of a apartment house, provided at an exhaust duct port formed above a common pathway.
CONSTITUTION: During the use of gas range, exhaust gas is blown out of a range hood 2, a dust chamber 3, and an exhaust duct 4 above a gas range 1. In this case, a weather cover 10 is provided at an opening leading to the outside of the exhaust duct 4, which is made up by connecting a covering plate 11 obtained by folding a flat plat with a flat-faced back plate 1 and also by connecting the tip of the exhaust duct 4 to a duct through hole 13 formed in the center of the back plate 12. Thus, the exhaustion of gas from the duct 4 in the bilateral direction is made possible. Also, the lower side of the covering plate 11 is formed into an R-shape on the lowest connection side, thereby allowing oils present in exhaust gas to drop on the wall face side.
