Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the weather resistance of steel member by a method wherein a double-layer film consisting of a cationic film and an anionic film is provided on the surface of the steel member.
CONSTITUTION: The cationic film wherein the resin used as a paint is positively charged and the anionic film wherein the resin used as a paint is negatively charged are provided in the form of the double-layer film on the surface of the steel member. The second-layer film is an anionic film or a cationic film according as the first-layer film contacted with the steel member surface is a cationic film or an anionic film.
