PURPOSE: To realize tight fitting of the captioned molding to a car panel by forming a resin part through sticking a sheet-like member of constant thickness made of synthetic resin to insertion parts of a car panel.

CONSTITUTION: A resin part 8 is formed with a sheet-like member of constant thickness made of synthetic resin which is stuck in such a manner as covering a letter U-shaped inner side of a metal profile 4 with a section nearly shaped like an inverted letter of U, and enfolding the lower end of a side wall 4a of said profile 4, to hold said wall 4a from both sides. A lip 6 in the lower part is formed with the resin part 8, while other lips 5, 7 are formed through the process of extrusion. When a molding 3 is fitted to a car panel, insertion parts are tightly inserted since the resin part 8 is formed through sticking of the sheet-like member made of synthetic resin with constant thickness.
