PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption and to make a display in motion with simple constitution by providing a display position control circuit which applies a display device with a signal for moving a weather display to a display position.

CONSTITUTION: When the atmospheric pressure rises or falls with constant width, a weather judging1 circuit 10 outputs a detection signal indicating 'fine' or 'rain' and a detection signal indicating 'getting worse' or 'getting better' is outputted according to the variation direction of the atmospheric pressure. The detection signal indicating 'getting worse' or 'getting better' is stored in a wore/better storage circuit 34. A display position determining circuit 40 determines display transition from 'fine' to 'getting worse', from 'rain' to 'getting better', from 'getting better' to 'fine', from 'getting worse' to 'rain', from 'getting worse' to 'fine', or 'getting better' to 'rain' according to the signal from the storage circuit 34. A display position control circuit 70 applies a signal to a display device 106 according to the decision of the display position determining circuit 40 to move the weather display, thereby displaying the weather tendency.
