To provide a web application connection control system for holding connection of a session between a client terminal and a web server, and recording log-out time of a user even when a web browser is closed without log-out processing.

A processing code for calling an asynchronous communication function at prescribed intervals is added to each display screen data (HTML) of a web application. The web server 101 registers client information 311 and the log-in time 312 to a log-in history table 301 in response to a log-in request to the web application 110 to transmit the display screen data. The client terminal 103 establishes asynchronous communication at predetermined intervals in accordance with the screen display. The web server 101 updates the log-out time of day 313 on the basis of the current time according to the client information 311.
