Abstract:
To prevent the deterioration of web center position accuracy that is likely to occur in universal rolling and improve the productivity and product quality of rolling shaping in an H-section steel production line using universal rolling.SOLUTION: A web center position correction rolling mill that corrects the plate thickness center of the web portion of a rolled material to the width center position of a flange portion with respect to the rolled material, i.e., an intermediate material in the rolling process of H-section steel, which rolling mill includes a vertically symmetrical horizontal roll pair and a horizontally symmetrical upright roll pair. The horizontal roll pair is provided with a relief portion in the vicinity of the flange tip corresponding to a portion on a side surface of the horizontal roll pair. The upright roll pair is provided with a collar that restrains the flange tip of the rolled material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
