Abstract:
To provide a web tensioning mechanism evenly conveying a web in start of printing and during printing.
This device includes a web conveying mechanism and a web tensioning mechanism tensioning a web provided in an upstream side of the conveying mechanism. The web tensioning mechanism is provided with a spring supporting a drum movably in a web conveying direction and pressing the drum toward the web in a web conveying device including a rotatable arm, the drum supported on a tip of the arm and tensioning the web and a spring applying rocking force in a direction opposite to the web conveying direction on the arm.
