PURPOSE: To enable upward dehydration according to paper quality and reduce friction of wires with shoes by providing vacuum boxes and a guide roll on the downstream side of an autoslice installed on an upper wire.
CONSTITUTION: A stock is sandwiched between upper and lower loopy wires 9 and 3. In this state, a lower shoe box 10 is then brought into contact with the under side thereof and an autoslice 18 is provided on the upper wire 9 on the downstream side thereof. A vacuum box 19 is then provided on just the downstream side of the autoslice 18. Shoes 20 and 13 contacting the upper side of the upper wire 9 are provided in the vacuum box 19 and a slot 11 is formed between both. Further, a guide roll 12 for bending the upper and lower wires 9 and 3 and a stock upward in contact with the upper wire 9 is installed on the downstream side of the vacuum box 19.
