To provide a web position adjusting device and method capable of improving longitudinal folding accuracy of a web, and to provide a printer with it.SOLUTION: A web position adjusting device comprises a triangular plate 21 for longitudinally folding a web W to be conveyed, width direction adjustment devices 22, 71, and 81 which are disposed at the triangular plate 21 or on an upstream side of the triangular plate 21 in the conveying direction of the web W and adjusts a position in the width direction of the web W, a first width direction position detector 23 for detecting a position in the width direction of the web W which is longitudinally folded by the triangular plate 21, and a control device 24 for controlling the width direction adjustment devices 22, 71, and 81 based on a detection result of the first width direction position detector 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
