To provide a web processing line and method which produces sheets having a high squareness even from a web reduced in thickness uniformity.
The web processing line is equipped with: a web winding off apparatus; a width cutter to cut a web wound off by the web winding off apparatus into a predetermined width; a length cutter to cut the web cut by the width cutter into a predetermined length to produce sheets; and a web conveyance route modifying means, which is positioned between the width cutter and the length cutter, makes the conveyance route length of the longer side edge, longer than that of the shorter side edge, when one of a pair of side edges of the web cut by the width cutter is different from the other in length, and thereby modifies the web conveyance route so that the webs cut by the width cutter are conveyed in parallel for the length cutter.
