Abstract:
To provide a web tension adjustment device and method and a printing machine, where the tension of the web can be adjusted and the working property of the web tension adjustment work is improved.SOLUTION: The web tension adjustment device includes: an infeed drag roller 109 (an upstream side driving roller) and an exit drag roller 118 (a downstream side driving roller) that are provided with a predetermined space therebetween in the transport direction of a web W and capable of transporting the web W; blanket cylinders 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b, 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b that are provided between the infeed drag roller 109 and the exit drag roller 118; a tension pickup roller 111 (an upstream side tension detector) that detects tension of the web W in an upstream side section; a tension pickup roller 117 (a downstream side tension detector) that detects the tension of the web W in a downstream side section; and a control device 140 that can adjust the tension of the web W by controlling a rotation speed of the infeed drag roller 109 based on detection results of the tension pickup roller 111 and the tension pickup roller 117.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
