Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing taking-up device capable of increasing a force limiter load in a case where inertial movement of a crew toward a front side of a vehicle is large at the time of high speed collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a webbing taking-ip device 10, after a pretensioner 32 is activated, a spool is rotated in pulling-out direction and a first torsion part of a first torsion bar is twisted and deformed, and then, a second rotor 80 of a lost motion mechanism 76 is rotated in the pulling-out direction together with the spool. When the second rotor 80 is rotated in the pulling-out direction so that a second rotor projection 94 of the second rotor 80 abuts with a first rotor projection 96 from a taking-up direction side of the first rotor projection 96 of the first rotor 78, a second torsion part 68 of the second torsion bar 64 is started to be twisted and deformed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
