Abstract:
To release a wedge used for a PC steel material introducing prestress to a concrete member in a pretension method from a sleeve without lowering productivity of concrete members.SOLUTION: A wedge release device includes: a wedge release jig 200; a jack generating acting force releasing a wedge; and a substantially quadrilateral frame-shaped frame and a bearing pressure plate transmitting the acting force generated by the jack to the wedge. The frame functions as a reactive force pedestal, by the acting force generated from the jack, a tip portion 220 progresses along a diameter of a PC steel material from a direction where a taper hole narrows to a direction where the taper hole widens, an end face at an open side of the tip portion 220 becomes in contact with a wedge end face, and the tip portion 220 of the wedge release jig 200 is further pressed-into the taper hole from the direction where the taper hole narrows to the direction where the taper hole widens, thus, the wedge is released from a sleeve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
