Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide quick applicability for a spot of small space interposing a wedge-shaped drive member between lower/upper part pressure receiving members having tilt upper/lower surfaces, in a wedge type jack device for temporarily supporting a structure of bridge or the like jacked up on a supporting base.
CONSTITUTION: An a metal-made box-shaped frame member 6 of almost rectangular shape as viewed in plane providing an opening 5 in an upper surface, respectively lower/upper part wedge pressure receiving members 16, 25, having tilt upper/lower surfaces additionally provided with slide assist material plates 26 of Teflon or the like, are stored to be vertically opposed. A wedge-shaped drive member 18, providing a tilt surface in both upper and lower surfaces, is interposed between these pressure receiving members 16, 25, and this drive member 18 is connected to an output rod 33 of a hydraulic jack 32, arranged in the outside of the frame member 6, through a connecting fixture 30. The hydraulic jack 32 is moved to be extended so as to lift the upper part wedge pressure receiving member 25 in a vertical direction through the wedge-shaped drive member 18, and by fitting a stopper 3 7 to the output rod 33 after lift operation, moving of the wedge-shaped drive member 18 is restricted.
