Abstract:
To provide a weft double woven fabric which is suitable for a uniform use and has shape stability and surface smoothness in addition to moderate stretchability.SOLUTION: In a weft double woven fabric, a weft yarn constituting a front texture is made of a conjugate fiber obtained by laminating polyester-based polymers different in kinds along the fiber length direction into a side-by-side type fiber or an eccentric sheath-core type fiber, and a weft yarn constituting a back texture is a spun yarn. In addition, the weft double woven fabric satisfies all of the following requirements (1) to (4): (1) an elongation in the weft direction is 13% or more, (2) a sum of elongation percentages in the weft direction and an elongation in the warp direction is 15% or more, (3) a dimensional change ratio after one time of washing is +3% to -3%, and (4) an average deviation (SMD) of a surface roughness of the fabric is 6.5 μm or less in the front texture in an unstretched state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
