Abstract:
To provide the subject weft feeder simple in structure.
This weft feeder comprises a linear motor 1 equipped with a stator 4 having two permanent magnets and an armature 5 having a coil and a weft yarn feed finger 2 connected to the linear motor for feeding wefts to a rapier; wherein the linear motor 1 and the yarn feed finger 2 are formed as a modular assembly.
