To inhibit water injected from a weft-insertion nozzle from dispersing thereby preventing the jetted water from coming into contact with the warp threads and damaging them, and simultaneously suppressing the speed reduction of the jetted water to increase the weft-insertion operation speed.
In one of the weft-insertion nozzle 1 for a water jet loom equipped with the needle 2 having thread-guiding eye 7 bored, the first jetting hole 11, the second jetting hole 12 that is opened in front of the first jetting hole 11 with a larger inner diameter than that of the first jetting hole 12 is arranged concentrically to the first jetting hole 11, and with the jetting flow path linking the first jetting hole 11 to the second jetting hole 12, an inclined face 16 is formed in the jetting flow path 13 concentrically to the first hole 11 and the second hole 12 from the hole having the inner diameter larger than that of the first jetting hole 11 toward the second jetting hole 12 as the inner diameter is gradually expanded toward the second jetting hole 12.
