PURPOSE: To adjust the supply of blowing air to each nozzle for supplying wefts by a throttling transfer device independent from the nozzle so that the wefts may be each inserted under an optimum condition.
CONSTITUTION: This device for supplying weft 6 in an airjet loom comprises at least one of nozzles 4, 5, 6 connected to a compressed air source 7, a buffer tank 18, a cutoff valve 9 arranged in a funnel 8 between the compressed air source 7 and the nozzles 4, 5, 6, and a controlled throttling device 10. The throttling device 10 is mounted in the immediate surrounding of the cutoff valve 9. The device also has an inlet funnel 22, an outlet funnel 23 connected to the inlet funnel 22, a rotary throttling element 24 fitting in the inlet funnel 22, and a motor 25 for rotating the throttling element 24.
