Abstract:
To provide a weft winder capable of winding wefts at a constant tension in variable winding conditions.
A weft winder for winding yarns from a supply side bobbin 1 to a winding side bobbin 2 has tension sensors S and motors M for applying tension to yarns, both provided between the mutual bobbins. The motors M are controlled with respect to the change of a load on the yarns so that the tension detected by the tension sensors S can be kept at a set value.
