PURPOSE: To provide the weighing and sorting device for articles which can surely weigh fish and shellfishes, such as scallops, sort the scallops with good maintenance according to the results thereof and facilitates cleaning by water.

CONSTITUTION: An article receiving part T which is disposed with 3 sheets of weighing plates 107 respectively spaced from each other and receives the scallops M supplied from above is formed. A load cell 111 which weighs the weights of the scallops is coupled to the weighing plates and disposed above. Three sheets of discharge plates 114 which are so disposed as to be passable in the respective spacings S of the weighing plates are driven by rotation of a crank mechanism and the scallops weighed by the load cell in the article receiving part are pressed by these discharge plates, and are supplied to buckets 35 of a bucket conveyor 32. Both side wall parts of the buckets having an approximately triangular section in shape are supported freely rotatably by a pair of two-lined chains and the buckets are inclined upward in this suspended state.
