Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight detecting device capable of being miniaturized and stably detecting weight, and provide a microwave oven using it.
SOLUTION: The device comprises a thrust shaft 41 displaced to a thrust direction according to the weight to be detected, first and second relatively- rotating displacing members 42, 43 respectively engaging the thrust shaft 41 so as to be relatively rotated when the weight is loaded, a detector for detecting an amount of relative displacement of the first and second relatively-rotating displacing members 42, 43, and a weight conversion means for converting the amount of the displacement into the weight. The first relatively-rotating displacing member 42 comprises a groove without an undercut part in the thrust direction having a slant face for receiving the weight to be detected by abutting to a horizontal shaft 44a orthogonally inserted into the thrust shaft 41 so as to be converted into rotary motion of the first relatively-rotating displacing member 42.
