Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance wt. sorting efficiency by dispersing articles such as agricultural and marine products to a plurality of feed passages by a dispersing feeder to send them to a weighing means by an arranging and feeding means and weighing the respective wts. of the articles to sort the articles by ranks and discharging the articles at every ranks.
CONSTITUTION: The articles such as scallops supplied by a supply means 3 are dispersed to a plurality of feed passages by a disc-shaped dispersing feeder 5 provided with an electromagnetic vibration means and the articles dispersed to the respective feed passages are fed to respective weighing machines 13 one at a time by an arranging and feeding means 9 and the wts. of the respective articles are measured by the weighing machines 13 and the ranking signals corresponding to the measured wts. are outputted from an ranking means. The articles sorted by ranks are sent to a sorting conveyor 15 and, when the articles reach the discharge positions corresponding to the ranks, a plurality of the compressed air nozzles 29 arranged in parallel of a discharge means 28 are selectively driven on the basis of the sorting signal of a sorting control means 31 to discharge the articles to the corresponding receiving boxes at every ranks.
