Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technique capable of stably manufacturing a thin wall welded tube of about t/D=5% or below.
SOLUTION: In a welded tube manufacturing seam guide roll device 11 guiding the seam part at the time of manufacturing the welded tube, thrusting up roll devices 1a, 1b composed of thrusting up means 4a, 4b having two sets of thrusting up rolls separately thrusting up both side edge parts 23a, 23b of the open tube 23 before welding from the lower side, a supporting base 5 supporting two sets of thrusting up means 4a, 4b from the lower side, and at least a pair of bottom rolls 6 coming into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the open tube 23 and supporting the supporting base 5 from the lower side, are provided.
