Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can correctly monitor an electro-resistance-welded state of a steel pipe by use of an imaging device having high durability.SOLUTION: A bore scope 10 is located at a position on an upstream side of a V-shaped convergence region 5 of a steel plate 1 curved into a cylindrical shape at which an abutting region 5a of the steel plate 1 can be photographed from an obliquely upper side. The bore scope 10 has an inner sheath 11 for accommodating a relay lens 12, a protective sheath 16 made of ceramic which covers an outside of the inner sheath. Nis made up between the inner sheath 11 and the protective sheath 16 and is discharged from a light entrance window 16a, whereby cooling for the sheathes 11, 16 and purging for prevention of sputtering can be simultaneously performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
