Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of remarkably improving fatigue strength of a weld bead in corner boxing of a gusset plate with simple means.SOLUTION: An expansion bead 3b having a length of 17 mm or more is formed in two positions, at both ends in the longitudinal direction of a gusset plate 2, on the top face of a steel plate.
