Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method, a welding joint, and a welding structure, for realizing low sharpness of a thermal influence part due to reduction of a welding pass number, and reduction of a residual tensile stress due to reduc tion of welding metal amount.
SOLUTION: When stainless steel base metals 1 whose thickness exceeds a given value are butt welded, a groove 2 comprising an I-shaped part 2a having a given root height, a V-shaped part 2b spreading from the I-shaped part 2a at a given angle, and a U-shaped part 2c connected to the V-shaped part 2b is selected and processed. After a slurry-formed welding accelerator 3 formed by mixing powder and solvent of metal oxides is applied to the V-shaped part 2b and the U-shaped part 2c, normal TIG welding is performed.
