Abstract:
To provide improved welding method, welding device, and battery assembly which, for example, make it possible to obtain a higher quality weld condition.SOLUTION: A welding method welds, for example, a plurality of metallic members including a metallic member as a battery electrode or a metallic member electrically connected to the electrode, or a metallic member in an electric apparatus by irradiating a surface of at least one metallic member of the plurality of metallic members with laser beam. The laser beam includes a first laser beam having a wavelength of 800 [nm] or more and 1200 [nm] or less, and a second laser beam having a wavelength of 550 [nm] or less. The metallic member may be a battery electrode, the plurality of metallic members may include a plurality of laminated electrode tabs, and the metallic member may be accommodated in a housing of the electric apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
