To provide a welding voltage control method for correcting the welding voltage according to a polarity ratio, and a consumable electrode type arc welding power supply.
In this consumable electrode type arc welding power supply, a polarity of a welding output voltage applied between a consumable electrode and a base metal is alternately and repeatedly switched to a reverse polarity and a positive polarity. In this case, a welding voltage one dimensional computing part 14 decides a welding voltage command value corresponding to the welding current being set at a welding current setting part 10, and corrects a first correction value being set at a welding voltage fine adjustment setting part and a second correction value corresponding to the polarity ratio being set at a polarity ratio setting part 12. Thereby, one dimensional voltage is corrected and a voltage re-adjusting operation can be reduced.
