Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease pits, blow holes and spatters in gas shielded arc welding of galvanized steel sheets.
CONSTITUTION: A steel wire 2 contg, by weight %, ≤0.15% C, 0.1 to 0.4% Si, 1.2 to 1.7% Mn, ≤0.03% P, and ≤0.03% S, contg. 0.04 to 0.10% in total one or two kinds of Ti and Nb and consisting of the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities is used. A ternary shielding gas of O2+Ar+CO2 contg. ≥1% and ≤7% gaseous O2 by volume is used. Pulse MAG welding is executed.
