Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an extrusion molding method by which the required water content of prepd. stock can be reduced while maintaining or improving the extruding characteristics when a ceramic article is formed by wet extrusion molding.
CONSTITUTION: When prepd. stock having a prescribed hydrated state is extrusion-molded, one or more among talc, sericite and pyrophyllite as flaky silicate minerals are added to the prepd. stock by 5-15wt.% in total.
