Abstract:
To provide a carbon fiber-contained wet-type non-woven fabric in which a matrix component is rapidly permeated and a carbon fiber exhibits excellent molding fluidity during manufacture of a carbon fiber prepreg or a carbon fiber reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon fiber-contained wet-type non-woven fabric containing 30 to 98 mass% of carbon fibers with a fiber length of 2 to 25 mm, in which the wet-type non-woven fabric contains a tapered fiber bundle that is composed of 10 or more carbon fibers and has at least one tapered edge, and the number of tapered fiber bundles contained in the carbon fiber-contained wet non-woven fabric is 500 to 15,000 pieces/g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
