Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a low wet permeability by using 50-20pts.wt. of glass flake or mica for 100pts.wt. of epoxy resin, 80pts.wt. of curing agent, 1pt.wt. of curing catalyst, and 1pt.wt. of epoxy silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of Araldite, 80pts.wt. of methyltetrahydrophthalate anhydride as a curing agent, 1pt.wt. of 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole as a curing catalyst, and 1pt.wt. of epoxy silane coupling agent are mixed. Further, 50- 200pts.wt. of a filler which has at least one of glass flake and mica of 1-3mm. mesh and 60-80 of aspect ratio is mixed to form a coating material. Thus, a low wet permeable coating can be formed, thereby omitting a can of an underwater motor.
