Title:
MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR THERMOCOUPLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3219939
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a mounting structure for a thermocouple in which even when the kinds of fuel gas used in gas combustion instruments are different, electromotive force of a thermocouple for detecting the combustion state of the gas can be judged with a predetermined reference.
CONSTITUTION: A thermocouple 78 is kept with an insulator thermocouple holder 67 in an insulated state and is mounted on a casing 61 in the state where the surroundings thereof are surrounded with a cover member 69, and when fuel gas having higher flame temperature is used at that time, a spacer member 73 is mounted between the cover member 69 and the front end of the thermocouple holder 67 and the thermocouple 78 is withdrawn. When fuel gas having lower flame temperature is used, the spacer member 73 is mounted between the cover member 69 and the front end of the thermocouple holder 67 is mounted to advance the thermocouple 78. Hereby, the combustion state is grasped with a predetermined reference electromotive force of the thermocouple 78.
