Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the wet type developing device of a platemaker constituted so that a toner image transferred to the circumferential surface of an upper squeeze roller is not transferred on the surface of a master sheet while sufficiently maintaining the developer squeezing function of the squeeze roller.
SOLUTION: This wet type developing device of the platemaker is constituted so that the electrostatic latent image of the master sheet X is developed while it passes through a developing pallet 11 and excessive developer attached to the sheet X is squeezed by the rolling contact movement of the upper squeeze roller 47A and the lower squeeze roller 47B positioned at an exit side. Besides, the developing device is provided with an upper blade 49 which can be engaged and disengaged with respect to the circumferential surface of the roller 47A and a spraying pipe 21 spraying the developer toward space between the blade 49 and the circumferential surface of the roller 47A. Then, the image transferred to the circumferential surface of the roller 47A is dissolved and eliminated by the developer from the pipe 21 and the blade 49 in the plate making process of the platemaker.
