To introduce fume dust at a high temperature and dust at a room temperature such as a shot blast, or sander generated in large quantities into mist formed by using the suction pressure of the dust, to collect them with the same high efficiency as that of a judgment dust collector and also to eliminate the fear of fire.
A wet type dust collector 1 is provided with a means in which, by blowing dust continuing air sucked in a suction flow passage 4 at a high speed, the surface of water in a water tank 3 is vibrated through a high-frequency vibration to generate fog in a mist mixing chamber 6. Water is sprayed into the mist mixing chamber 6 of the wet dust collector 1 and a surfactant is added to the water in the water thank 3 in a prescribed quantity. Furthermore, a discharge port 10 is fitted with a filter 11.
